Rotary Art Competition 2022
Lots of children in school took part in the Rotary Art competition. The theme this year was 'Colour in Nature' and the children could design any picture they wanted. Showing off their amazing talents and some of the winners are on display for you to see. Safer Internet Day 2022
Each class looked at how they can show respect online. As part of Safer Internet Day 2022, each class thought about how they could show care and kindness whilst playing online games #PlayYourPart Happy TwosDay 22.02.2022
Happy Twosday everyone. A palindrome day of 22.02.2022 and also an ambigram number when written digitally. All the children in school, celebrated the number 2 by walking in pairs, having a 2's challenge, looking at doubling, 2D shapes, multiples of two plus much more... Only 11 years until the 3's day! Children in Need 2021
What an absolutely, Pudsey-tastic time we have all had today! Children in Need was certainly celebrated in style! Despite being dressed in our pyjamas, a wake and shake from Joe Wicks really kicked our day off. Lots of children had fun doing some of the Pudsey mile and we all had a lovely opportunity to have a story time in the library, reading ‘Pudsey’s Great Fundraiser’. We raised a fantastic £224 - thank you everyone. Anti-bullying Week 2021
The week kicked off with a big assembly to introduce 'Andy and his Odd Socks'. We looked at the strapline 'One Kind Word' and worked throughout the week, raising awareness and showing how we can be kind and what we need to do if someone isn't. Remembrance Day 2021
Many activities took place throughout the school to remember those who have lost their lives in conflict. The children created lots of artwork and every child in school designed a poppy stone to lay a poppy path along the entrance to the school. #wewillrememberthem #empathy STEM Week 2021
The whole school took part in STEM week - taking inspiration from the book 'Can I build another me?' by Shinsuke Yoshitake. Each class used the book to complete a range of Science, Maths and Design & Technological activities to ignite intrigue and excitement in the children's learning. A fantastic week as you can see. #HelloYellow 2021
World mental health day - everyone in school had the opportunity to dress in yellow to raise awareness for mental health. Each class took part in a range of activities, finding ways to relax, think about their own mental health and find strategies to help support themselves and others. As you can see, the day was very successful. Languages Day 2021
We celebrated our wonderful world in school, learning all about different countries, cultures, food and languages. The children took part in lots of fantastic activities and really enjoyed learning how to say 'hello'. |
